Was recommend to stay here while we were in town and we found that a nieghbour had a lot of foot traffic at first figured it was drugs then come to find out this was alone female and all the customers were male and staying no longer then 15 min span! Not sure how this is aloud the owner seemed to know about this and didn't care good way to run your small business to the ground!!
For anyone that stays there she is residing in room 1!!! After a long day all you want to do is lay down, relax and get some rest. This wasn't an option when we pulled back the comforter and saw white smears we all can imagine what that was all over the comforter. We called and told the owner wife I assume and she brought us some new bedding. My cousin and I put the new bedding on the bed because we felt like we had to. The wife was very apologetic and said that the kids were the ones who cleaned the room etc.
This year I returned after another 16 hour journey by myself this time to give it another shot and to support what could be a great motel in Thunder Bay but I was very disappointed yet again.
The male owner was not friendly or professional on the phone. I felt like I was a complete bother by calling. Soon after I locked my key in my room so I had to call again.
The room wasn't great at all. The floors were disgusting and looked as though they hadn't been swept, vacuumed or mopped in days, there was mouse poop on the counter, no coffee or dish soap was restocked, the end table was randomly pulled out, table chairs out of place, stain on the pillow case and little hairs in the bed. It looked like nothing was touched or cleaned after the previous guests just a bed that was made but not very clean I was hoping that my second experience would be better but it certainly wasn't.
